Tennant Co. announced that Chris Killingstad has joined the company's board and will become president and CEO on Dec. 1, at which time Janet Dolan will step down as president and CEO. She will continue on the board through year-end and retire as previously announced.
Killingstad joined Tennant in 2002 and served as vice president, North America, with responsibility for growing new revenues and profitability in North America, as well as leading the company's global marketing and new product launch efforts.
In other news, the company is marking 135 years in business this year. It was 1870 when George Tennant's sawmill began producing wood products and flooring for Minneapolis businesses.
