Tennant Company was selected by ABM as the industry’s best example of thinking out-of-the-box and providing ABM with creative solutions for solving its customers’ cleaning challenges. The ABM announcement was made during the recent 2009 ISSA/INTERCLEAN North America Show, October 6-9 in Chicago.
“The Tennant Company has involved ABM in several of its high profile and pivotal technology developments for the cleaning industry and has demonstrated through its actions that ABM is an important partner,” said John Bierer, vice president, ABM Janitorial Services. “Tennant works hard to bring benefits and results to our customers.”
Bierer went on to say that the annual award is given to an ABM business partner that “steps out-of-the-box” in seeking new ways to solve issues within the cleaning industry. He cited the two companies’ work together to initiate LEED certification, a key measure of environmental sustainability, for cleaning machines. Tennant and ABM also created customized training programs for ABM staff.
