Tri-Plex Technical Services, Ltd. announces that Green Guard is the first carpet protector to be certified by the EPA Design for the Environment Program. Green Guard is an encapsulation product that contains anti-stain, anti-soiling properties that neutralize alkalinity residues and limits wicking and prevents browning or yellowing, the company said.

In addition to Green Guard, Tri-Plex has also received EPA DfE approval for its Go Clean Product Line. “Our Go Clean and Green Guard Product Lines are formulated with our Earth and its inhabitants in mind,” the company said. “These products are fragrance free, biodegradable, phosphate free and contain no VOC’s. This practice leads to a more positive environmental profile than standard cleaning products.”
