BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (April 19, 2005) - Unger Enterprises, Inc. today announced its new ErgoTec LockingCone won the Innovation Award in the "best hand tools" category at The Cleaning Show 2005, one of the UK's largest cleaning industry exhibitions.

"Worker and pedestrian safety are major concerns when cleaning high, out-of-reach areas," said Mark Unger, COO, Unger Enterprises. "The instability of cleaning tools at great heights is a common cause of injury."

The award decision was based on votes from the members of the British Institute for Cleaning Science and Hygiene Suppliers Association and the Cleaning and Support Services Association.
