Spectroline EA-160
The Spectroline EA-160 UV lamp from the Spectronics Corp. was recently used by a leading sanitary engineering firm in a field study to locate odor-causing materials. The firm discovered that uric acid crystals and other dried salts fluoresce under long-wave ultraviolet light. The firm used the hand-held EA-160 to visually locate odor sources, according to the Spectronics.
The EA-160 plugs into any AC outlet, is UL-listed and weighs 2 pounds.
