ValueStar, a rating organization of local service businesses, says they will rate all of Coit Services Inc.’s 12 divisions nationwide. Coit Services Inc., a specialty cleaning service, will also endorse the ValueStar rating process to its 60 franchisees nationwide. ValueStar, which has expanded its branded ratings nationwide, evaluates multiple factors including licensure, legal, financial, and customer satisfaction in awarding a company one of three ratings brands: ValueStar Top-rated, ValueStar Verified, or ValueStar Unverified. The ratings are designed to enable consumers to shop for local service professionals with knowledge and assurance.

The Public Research Institute of San Francisco State University and the Consumer Law Project of the University of Houston Law Center do the independent research auditing for ValueStar.
