The Advanced Water Damage Strategies Course took place at sea Feb. 24 – March 4 aboard the S.S. Triumph traversing the Caribbean. The journey was both fun and educational.

More that 100 restoration professionals, made up of owners, managers and technicians from companies throughout the United States and Canada attended classes taught by industry leaders Larry Cooper, Barry Costa and Howard Wolf, as well as Brandon Burton of Dri-Eaz and Therma-Stor’s Larry Carlson. Topics ranged from “Sharing The Vision: Looking to the Future” and “Next Generation Component Pricing for Drying Projects,” to “Dehumidification Systems, Restoration Equipment – A Deeper Look at Drying,” and more. Both Dri-Eaz and Therma-Stor, along with ICS Cleaning Specialist and Restoration & Remediation magazine, sponsored the event.

There was a lot of meaningful, back-and-forth discussions throughout the week, both in sessions and out, between the attendees and instructors, as well as round table discussions and workshops.
