The WD-40 Co. introduces Spot Shot Instant Carpet Stain Remover, designed to make stain removal "a snap for maintenance crews, janitors and sanitation professionals."

Spot Shot removes stains and spots instantly without rubbing, scrubbing or vacuuming, the company said. Spot Shot is designed to penetrate deep into carpet fibers where it breaks the bond of the stain to the fiber. Once the bond is broken, Spot Shot lifts it to the surface so it can be completely blotted away, according to WD-40 Co.
