WFCA Regional Installation Contests well underway

The Word Floor Covering Association recently held its first Regional Installation contest in Cleveland, Ohio, and the staged a second at Mannington Mills in Salem, N.J.

ANAHEIM, Calif.--The Word Floor Covering Association (WFCA) held its first Regional Installation contest in Cleveland, Ohio, and staged a second at Mannington Mills in Salem, N.J.

The regional contests again have broad-based industry support: Domco provided the resilient product (with the exception of the Salem, NJ regional contest, where Mannington Mills provided the resilient product). Mohawk Industries is providing carpet for all the contests and The Carpenter Company is providing padding and carpet cushion, while Halex is providing underlayment for all the contests. Also providing product for the regional and/or national installation contests, at no charge, are the following manufacturers of tools, adhesives and equipment: Airsled, Ardex, Inc./The W.W. Henry Company, Beno J. Gundlach Co., Capitol USA, Futura Industries, Halex Corp., KneePoc, Laser Products, Inc., National Carpet Equipment, Inc., Orcon, Roberts/QEP Co. Inc., Skillers Workwear USA, Taylor Tools, Inc., and TEQ 2100 Seam Tape Company. The WFCA Regional and National Installation Contest is sponsored by World Floor Covering Association and co-sponsored by National Floor Trends and Floor Covering Installer magazines.
