CINCINNATI – Widmer’s Cleaners is
celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2010. Locally owned and operated, it is
now the largest dry cleaner in the Midwest and the largest carpet cleaning and restoration company in the area. In 2009, Widmer’s produced $17 million in sales from all their
services.
In its 100 years of operation, Widmer’s has had some interesting claims to fame, including the prestige of restoring some of the vintage garments on display at the Smithsonian Institute, including Teddy Roosevelt’s Rough Rider Suit and the suit that Abraham Lincoln was wearing when he was assassinated.
