Winterfest, an annual gathering of industry professionals that are part of the online bulletin board community, was held Feb. 23-25 in Santa Cruz, Calif.
Hosted by Mike Pailliotet of Aptos-based Connoisseur Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning, this year's event included cleaning a sports-and-recreation complex and motel rooms, and provided the opportunity for cleaning equipment and technique demonstrations, as well as lively debate and discussion among the attendees.
Those making the trip also toured the Talisman Oriental Rug Cleaning Plant, with information sessions conducted by MasterBlend's Aaron Groseclose, GreenGlide's Jeff Lydon, Keith Collins of BRC Systems, Taf Baig from Magic Wand, JWC Inc.'s John Olson, Steve Marsh of Competition Free Marketing, and Dry Treat's Al Spaet.
