The IICRC has been involved in writing standards for the cleaning, restoration and remediation industry since the late 1980s. The IICRC has taken this leadership to advance the science for our industry.
I recently had the opportunity to spend several days at the offices of KCI, the administrative arm of the IICRC. Tom Hill, the IICRC’s executive administrator, set me up with a desk and a phone line so that I could work on IICRC business whilst there.
In this time of the “credit crunch” sweeping across the global marketplace, it appears many folk are walking around a little forlorn, possibly wondering what will happen to them if they lose their job or, if they work for themselves, when the phone might ring again.
Over 30 authors – over 40 articles…from attorneys, contractors, consultants, instructors and others, both inside and outside the restoration industry. R & R, C & R and Cleanfax, opened their archives and gave us the best they had, other chapters were created just for the “Get Paid!” book and its readers. And every one of them has ideas for how to get paid what you are owed.
