After voting to change its name from the Professional Carpet & Upholstery Cleaners Association to the Professional Association of Cleaning and Restoration, the association is wasting no time getting its message and opportunities out to its members!
The Board of Directors of the Professional Carpet & Upholstery Cleaners Association recently voted to change the name of the non-profit association to the Professional Association of Cleaning and Restoration, or PACR (pronounced "pacer.")
PCUCA members enjoyed a night out at the Colorado Rockies game on July 28. Over 120 PCUCA members attended the game and donated an additional 22 tickets to families who are staying at the Denver and Aurora Ronald McDonald Houses.
The Professional Carpet and Upholstery Cleaners Association is very proud to announce that PCUCA raised more than $1,000 for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society at the Connections Conference and Exhibition in Clearwater, Fla. in April.
PCUCA will host this important class that takes a critical look at the presence of pre-existing conditions, contaminants (e.g., sewage or mold), and health and safety hazards, and address where the drying process cannot be completed in a timely manner.
On Oct. 22-23, “Inspection & Preliminary Determination” with John Banta of Restoration Consultants will be held. A unique two-day program, the course provides restorers and remediators with the training needed to inspect buildings and develop a preliminary determination consistent with the IICRC S500 and S520.
