50 Years New

It has been said that the one constant is change. Over the past few years, perhaps nothing has changed more than media - the way it is read and consumed, and therefore, the way it must be delivered.

ICS has just celebrated its 50th anniversary of being the leading magazine and source of information for the professional carpet cleaning and restoration industry. While that will not change, how we bring you the information will.

Beginning this spring, your printed ICS magazine will begin coming less frequently and we will increase the frequency of the ICS eNewsletter from monthly to weekly. This gives us the opportunity to deliver more relevant information, more quickly. With this consolidation, the issues of the magazine you will receive will be themed and much more comprehensive, designed specifically to bring you articles on topics you will enjoy reading, as well as help you with your business skills.

Following this April 2013 issue, you will receive an ICS magazine in June with the theme of “Diversification,” in August, with the theme of “People and Perspectives” and then in November on “Innovation in Cleaning and Restoration/Annual ICS Trade Directory and Buying Guide.” Each issue will not only deliver high-quality content relevant to all aspects of the issue themes, but will steer you to our website for more information on these topics in the likes of videos, podcasts, online-only content and more.

Our revamped, soon-to-be weekly eNewsletter will feature the same great regular ICS columnists that you’ve read in the magazine for years. These feature articles from the likes of John Braun, Gordon Hanks, Howard Partridge, Steve Toburen and Jessika James will debut exclusively in the eNewsletter for your reading pleasure before becoming available on the ICS website.

We believe you will find ICS to be better and more engaging than ever and that’s why we are calling it “50 Years New.”
