SPEAKER BIOS:
Rachel Adams has been involved in the water damage and environmental health industries for more than 24 years. She holds a dual bachelor degree in Environmental Health Sciences and Medical Technology (Toxicology) from Purdue University. She is certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists and an active member of The American Industrial Hygiene Association. She also holds a Master Restorer designation from the IICRC through her training, dedication and field experience.
Rachel was founder and President of Indoor Environmental Management, Inc (IEM) in 1995 in which she conducted inspections of both residential and commercial buildings throughout the country. IEM grew to develop one of the leading consulting and state-of-the art laboratory serving the needs of clients throughout the country.
Rachel served on the Board of Directors for the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, Restoration Certification (IICRC) and is currently serving as the Technical Advisory Committee Chair of the IICRC Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT). Rachel served on the committee to write and establish guidelines and updates for the standard of care for mold remediation, also referred to as the S520-08, Standard and Reference Guide for Professional Mold Remediation.
She also is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Society of Cleaning and Restoration Technicians (SCRT) and the Low Moisture Carpet Cleaning Association (LMCCA). She is an Associate member of the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH.)
Wayne Lawrence is a Regional Sales Manager for Grand Northern Products, located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He graduated with his B.A. Degree from Central Michigan University in 1989. After several years in logistics and distribution, Wayne began full time at his current position in January of 1995.
Grand Northern is the nation’s largest independent distributor of blast abrasives and equipment, including baking soda, dry ice and most traditional blast media. In addition to sales, Wayne also trains customers, services equipment, and provides on-going field support. He is recognized by both the RIA and the IICRC as an instructor for the RMB (Restorative Media Blasting) course. Experiences from over a thousand jobsites, multitudes of wide-ranging blast applications, and years of hands-on application are among his strong points.
Stanley F. Collesano, JD, CEO of Profitable Business Strategies based out of Fishers, Indiana. Stan practiced law in both the State of Indiana and State of New York for approximately 15 years, specializing in business/corporate law, insurance defense as well as handing some commercial real estate issues. Stan is currently retired from the practice of law and operates Profitable Business Strategies to help small to medium size business navigate the path to a successful and profitable business by combining his education and degree in Accounting along with his legal education, training and experience. Although, Stan helps many types of businesses in the United States he has focus on the restoration and remediation industry. Stan quite often lectures on business and legal topics.
