We set up an appointment for the cleaning and upon arriving and I asked for a “tour” of what she wanted cleaned. I measured, figured the price and when I gave it to her she had a shocked look on her face!

A few observations on naming your business...
If you are paying marginal wages don’t be surprised if you get marginal workers.
So hopefully by now you are busy, busy, busy with spring cleaning! And yet many carpet cleaners still crash and burn financially and/or emotionally even though they are booked solid for days ahead!
The first level is being aware of what you are thinking and doing. Level 2 is being willing to change.
You will be successful if you truly want to be. We will all be rooting for you.
If there was a business expansion that I was convinced would far out-produce the expense of a loan – I would go for it.
Any woodworker will tell you that 90% of their project’s success is based on preparation. Everything from matching the grain to squaring the pieces to the final sanding - miss one step and your project will be ruined.
