 We already told you about the recent episode of IAQ Radio, where Darrell Paulson made the announcement that ANSI had withdrawn approval of the S520 Standard. And now in an official press release from the IICRC, further context was given about the present and future state of the standard.

Via a recent edition of IAQ Radio, IICRC Chairman Darrell Paulson announced that ANSI has officially withdrawn approval of the S520 Standard and Reference Guide for Professional Mold Remediation.

The IICRC Board of Directors held its second-annual strategic planning meeting, in conjunction with the Surfaces trade show and our winter board meeting, in January.

In March 2012, the IICRC Board of Directors reinstated the IICRC name to the organization and chose the cleantrust as the organization’s service mark.

It’s the beginning of the IICRC’s 41st year and I’m humbled by that achievement and marketplace acceptance.
