It has been said that the one constant is change. Over the past few years, perhaps nothing has changed more than media - the way it is read and consumed, and therefore, the way it must be delivered.

It’s with the greatest of pleasures that I am able to salute ICS and its thousands of readers on its 50th anniversary.

This issue is a retrospective look at where this industry came from, a celebration of the men and women who influenced it, created the products and the education for it as well as a look forward to what the future may bring.

It’s been another busy, eventful year in the carpet cleaning and restoration industry, so we thought it would be fitting to take a look back at some of the biggest headlines in the industry as well as some of the most popular stories that have appeared in ICS Cleaning Specialist.

This isn’t exactly brand-spanking news per say, as our YouTube page officially launched several weeks ago, but we’re happy to offer readers another way to stay connected with the industry, as well as dive into exclusive looks at the industry trade shows, conventions, demonstrations and seminars that we attend.
